Holy Trinity Monastery

Recently Patriarch Alexy II of the Russian Orthodox Church praised Holy Trinity Monastery and its monastics in Jordanville, New York. This monastery is a part of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia.

The Patriarch cited the monastery's efforts to continue the traditions of the Russian Orthodox Church in the United States. In particular he highlighted the fact that:

"When spiritual literature was almost impossible to publish in the homeland, the monastery's printing house released books that brought the light of faith to people."

Holy Trinity Monastery celebrates its 75th Anniversary this year.
