Townes Van Zandt died on January 1st, 1997. Tonight the 12th Annual Townes Van Zandt Wake will be held at the Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe in Galveston.
There are two books on Townes that have recently been released: To Live's To Fly: The Ballad of the Late, Great Townes Van Zandt and A Deeper Blue: The Life and Music of Townes Van Zandt.
