Festivalpalooza
It's that time of year again...festival time.
There are some great festivals going on over the next two weekends in the Houston area.
Starting tomorrow the Texas Crawfish and Music Festival kicks off in Old Town Spring.
The festival has an impressive music lineup featuring such artists as: Band of Heathens, Miss Leslie, Max Stalling, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Gary P. Nunn, John Evans, Jesse Dayton, Mickey & the Motorcars, Bob Schneider, Adam Carroll, Davin James, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and Shake Russell.
For this weekend only the Stingaree Music Festival will be held at Crystal Beach.
The festival is the brainchild of Hayes Carll and the lineup features: Bonnie Bishop, Gurf Morlix, Corb Lund, the Sideshow Tramps, Wrecks Bell, Mando Saenz, Eliza Gilkyson, the dedringers, Will Kimbrough, and Terry Allen among others.
and finally iFest Houston kicks off this weekend in downtown Houston. This year the festival's theme is "Out of Africa". The music lineup features acts such as: The Neville Brothers, Sean Reefer & the Resin Valley Boys, The Wailers, Buddy Guy, Sonny Boy Terry, Charlie Musselwhite, Red Stick Ramblers, the Jones Family Singers, and Sugar Bayou.
